Products
Choose from a range of products that leverage the same physics as medical MRI to locate groundwater and measure properties of aquifers and aquitards.
Javelin® NMR Borehole Logging
High-resolution downhole measurement and characterization of important aquifer properties, including:
- Volumetric water content
- Pore size distribution
- Bound and mobile aquifer porosity
- Hydraulic conductivity
- Transmissivity
GMR™ Surface NMR Instruments
Surface magnetic resonance is a powerful ground-based geophysical method used to non-invasively detect, measure and image groundwater. Our GMR™ instruments provide exceptional value for groundwater investigations due to their unique capabilities:
- GMR™ is the only non-invasive geophysical method that can directly detect and image groundwater from the surface
- GMR™ directly quantifies volumetric water content
- GMR™ unambiguously differentiates moveable water in large pores from immoveable water that bound in small pores
- GMR™ provides unambiguous estimates of hydrogeologic properties, including hydraulic conductivity and specific yield
- GMR™ provides high vertical resolution of the hydrogeologic properties described above, to depths of up to 500 feet (150 meters)
Dart™ Portable NMR Logging Tool
Dart™ enables efficient and high-resolution NMR logging in small-diameter boreholes, either open or PVC-cased, with easy portability to go anywhere it is needed. Dart™ ’s single-person deployment and operation enables measurement in remote or environmentally sensitive locations while eliminating the need for multi-person crews or vehicles.
Helios™ NMR Core Analyzer
Helios™ is a laboratory quality instrument that can be used in the lab or set up in the field. It measures NMR properties from core or hand samples. Helios™ NMR measurements enable rapid quantification of fluid content and hydrogeologic properties including the total porosity, bound/mobile fluid fractions, pore size distribution, and permeability. Helios™’ unique design features allow robust measurements of hydrologic properties over a wide range of core size and lithology.
