Since its foundation in 1997, Vista Clara has led the development of NMR technology for environmental and hydrological investigations. We have unique expertise in NMR imaging with multicoil arrays (with and without gradients), and imaging and characterizing magnetic field sources using magnetic sensor arrays. Vista Clara leverages this experience to develop and commercialize innovative and rugged sensor systems for environmental markets ranging from groundwater exploration to unexploded ordnance detection.
Vista Clara comprises a Board of Directors, President, and Vice President that provide guidance to the planned expansion of the company and expertise in the fields of scientific exploration and business development. In addition, we employ scientists, electrical and systems engineers, geophysicists, hydrologists and administrative support staff. Our principle office is located in Mukilteo, Washington (in the Seattle metropolitan area) .

Dave Walsh was born in New York, NY, in 1966. His first commercial venture was a successful house painting business in the late 1980's which funded most of his undergraduate education. He received his B.S. in electrical engineering from Iowa State University in 1990, his M.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Arizona in 1993, and his Ph.D. in electrical engineering at the University of Arizona in 1997. After a brief stint with another small R&D firm, he returned to Tucson Arizona in October 1997 and founded Vista Clara as a signal processing consulting firm. He married the love of his life and relocated Vista Clara to the Seattle, Washington metro area in 2001. In 2002, he re-oriented the company focus from consulting towards the in-house development of NMR instruments, and initiated Vista Clara's present expansion.
